Luanda — Angola's Federation of Athletics (FAA) members on Staurday in Luanda expressed their readiness to support the project by former international racer, João Ntyamba, who wants to train new athletes in the country, Angop learned.
Speaking to Angop, FAA chairperson, Carlos Teixeira, said that the institution welcomes all positive ideas and is ready to contribute to the implementation of matters relating to the development of national athletics.
"We have a special affection to the greatest Angolan athletes, mainly to João Ntyamba for everything he did for the country and therefore we are open to all his requests," he said.
In his opinion, it is important that the athlete that represented Angola in six Olympic games, presents his projects to the federation for an evaluation and finds out the more suitable ways for their practical implementation.
