Luanda — Zango ward, in Luanda's Viana District, has a new fire station that was inaugurated last Sunday, which will strengthen the fire prevention and fight work, as well as the operations of rescue and assistance in calamitous situations, in the capital city.
The new infrastructure was unveiled by the Viana District administrator, Zeca Moreno, who was accompanied by the Home Affairs minister, Roberto Leal Monteiro "Ngongo", the National Fire Service commander, lieut.-gen. Eugénio Laborinho, among other top officials from the police and the local administration.
The inauguration of the mentioned infrastructure was part of the commemorations of the National Fire Service anniversary, marked on Sunday, whose main act was held in Viana District and presided over by the Home minister.
