After failing to win a contract with Free State Stars, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Jorry Merahe has decided to pack his bags and head to the North West Province to try his luck with Platinum Stars.
Merahe has remained without a club since he was put on transfer by the Buccaneers during the off season.
The Free State-born midfielder is now hoping that he will find a new home in Rustenburg with the Tycoons.
"Yes, it's true that I have been training with Platinum Stars for the past week and at this moment I am still waiting for the coach to come back and tell me whether I will be signed or not.
"Being without a club has been one of the most difficult periods in my career, but I won't give up. I am confident that come next year January I will be back in action with one of the teams in the PSL."
