Saurimo — The structural, organisational and functional situation of the social communication organs in the east of the country was under analysis on Monday, in the eastern Lunda-Sul Province, at a regional editorial council, ANGOP has learnt.
During the meeting, chaired by the Social Communication minister, Manuel Rabelais, the provincial directors of Lunda-Norte, Moxico and Lunda-Sul provinces, informed that their organs are capable of meeting current demands.
The officials presented to the minister some concerns that can help to improve the performance of media organs in their provinces, such as technical and professional training of staff, as well as the setting up of equipment for sending materials from districts to the provincial chief towns.
On his turn, Manuel Rabelais informed participants that the government has been creating conditions for the media sector, having into account the improvement of services.
Manuel Rabelais is since Sunday in Saurimo District, eastern Lunda-Sul Province, for a three-day work visit.
