Luanda — A professional training project to benefit annually about 1,000 young people in Cazenga district, will be presented on Saturday in Luanda, by Camargo Corrêa building firm that has invested USD two million, Angop has learnt.
According to a press note from this firm, the project is the result of an action between the firm and the Dom Bosco religious organisation.
The document states that the goal is to contribute to reduce the lack in matters of training in the country, where about half of the inhabitants are below 15 years old and 69 per cent of the economically active population has not a professional qualification.
Dubbed Kidimacaji Project, the initiative aims at offering nine courses in the areas of electricity, computing and gastronomy, whereas the classes are to start in February 2009, at Santa Bakhita professional training.
The firm is operating in Angola for two years and has been rehabilitating roads in the districts of Rangel and Cazenga (Luanda), in Lubango, Benguela and Uije.
