Technology distributions limited, the ICT distributions company in West Africa has consolidated her leadership position in Africa by winning three top Awards from APC by Schneider.

The Awards tagged "Skills UPS" was organized by APC by Schneider Electric for its African Partners gathered at the Westin Hotels and Resorts in Cape Town, South Africa.

In all Technology Distributions Limited was honored in three categories as the Top Revenue Partner in West Africa, Top Revenue Partner in the whole of Africa, and Top Single Phase Project in Africa. These Awards have affirmed Technology Distributions total dominance of the ICT market in West Africa and emerging leadership in Africa.This is just some icing on the cake of the multiple Awards earned by the company over the years.

Technology Distributions Limited stand out as the most decorated ICT Company in Nigeria having won all the top Awards from all premium ICT brands. Between 1999 and 2007, TD repeatedly won the HP Largest Distributor Award in West Africa. In April this year Technology Distributions won the HP Award for the Highest Revenue Earner in Africa. The TD bouquet of Awards, added Mrs. Chioma Chimere, General Manager, Marketing, is further garnished by top Awards from EPSON, Microsoft and the three-year back to back Award as the ICT Distributor of the years 2006, 2007, and 2008.

Presenting the Award, Carl Kleynhans, Regional Director, Africa, Indian Ocean Islands and South Carribean, said that Technology Distributions was being honored again because the company has proven, through her optimal performance, that she had the human and material resources to deliver high quality ICT equipment to Africa. He said that TD has always contributed significantly to the global success of the APC brand. Kleynhans recalled that in 2003 TD won the APC Millennium Distributor of the Year. Congratulating the company on behalf of APC by Schneider, he said that the three Awards won by TD this year demonstrate that the company has the will power and the processes to predict and control the future.

Speaking to some Journalists Mrs. Chioma Chimere said that the Awards are a result of an intense focus on the vision of the founding fathers to pioneer the IT revolution in West Africa by launching the sub_region and indeed Africa into the league of IT nations. Mrs. Chimere said that the Awards would spur the TD team, staff and resellers, into greater creativity and more robust marketing. Turning philosophical the General Manager, Marketing, opined that TD was aware that staying Number 1 was more difficult than climbing to Number 1. Therefore, TD adopted the Distinctive Leadership management policy, which states that the margin of leadership must be wide and clear, and that all staff must adopt discernible attitudes aimed at sustaining the margin.

Mrs. Chioma Chimere dedicated the Awards to TD Resellers saying that the successes of the company are traceable to the resilience, loyalty and innovativeness of the resellers. She urged the resellers to take advantage of the market space created by TD to enhance their market share and profitability. Mrs. Chimere assured them that TD would always ensure through trade incentives that their operations remain viable and liquid.
