Dundo — Angolan minister of Geology and Mining, Mankenda Ambroise, Tuesday in Dundo, praised Lunda Norte province government's effort in improving the living of the populations, through the implementation of social projects.

Mankenda Ambroise, who was speaking to the press while assessing the result of his two-day visit to the northeastern Lunda Norte province, said he was satisfied with the relevant work being carried out by the Government in the region.

The minister said he believes in a new image of Lunda Norte, and reiterated the commitment of the sector he leads in cooperating with the local government for the development of the region.

According to him, mining companies' activity will give a boost to the province, especially to those areas where there is diamond exploration.

Accompanied by the provincial governor, Ernesto Muangala and by the chairman of the Diamond Exploration Company (Endiama) managing board, Arnaldo Calado, the minister travelled to the district of Lucapa where he learned about the implementation of Government's social projects.
