Angola: MP Sees Education as Foundation of Human's Evolution in Society

2 December 2008

Luanda — The Member of Parliament within the ruling MPLA party, Isabel Dalas, Tuesday in Luanda said that education within family is a decisive factor to the evolution and self-achievement of man in a society.

The MP, who was addressing a lecture on "Education of society for preservation of family values and women's right", referred that there is no family and society foundation without values and good education.

According to the official, the education is a process that intervenes various actors, including the children themselves.

"Education is an interaction amongst people, that is why the values are transmitted and absorbed at any time, stressed the MP, adding that we learn the education and values with our children.

She advised all families to opt for dialogue in tackling their conflicts and not to practise violence, the disintegrating cause of many households.

The activity is in the light of the 16 days of activism against gender violence.
