South Africa: Ngubane Ties up With Winners Park

3 December 2008

Winners Park has appointed former Black Leopards and Nathi Lions coach Mlungisi 'Professor' Ngubane as their new coach.

Ngubane replaces Boebie Solomons left the Limpopo Province for Cape Town where he has joined Santos as Director of Football.

Winners Park managing director Morris Chokoe has confirmed the appointment of Ngumane and adds that the former Durban Bush Bucks midfielder is expected to lead the club until the end of the season.

"We had a few other applications for the vacant coaching position in the club but we decided to settle on Ngubane because of his vast experience, especially coaching in the First Division.

"We have no doubt that with him we will realise our dream of playing in PSL next season."

Chokoe also disclosed to KickOff.com that Winners Park are set to use the University of Limpopo sports ground as their home venue from next year January following the closure of Seshego Stadium due to renovations.
