South Africa: Oketola Faces Ban After Positive Drug

With his sample B drug test coming back positive, Thanda Royal Zulu midfielder Jonas Oketola is set to face a lengthy ban from football.

Sample A of a test taken from Oketola at a recent league game indicated the use of a banned substance.

Thanda manager Thabang Gumede confirmed that his club has now received the results of sample B which also proved positive.

"We have since received the results of Oketola being tested positive and we are waiting for Safa to set a date for his hearing."

Coach Roger Palmgren claimed recently on KickOff.com that Oketola used the drug whilst going under operation on his knee.
