Kampala — East African Students will pay uniform fees at institutions of higher learning in the region only when the common market for the region is realized.
Kenyan students studying in Uganda recently petitioned the speaker of parliament Edward Ssekandi asking for harmonization of fees for students of the east African community
Monique Mukaruliza a member of the East Africa Legislative assembly representing Tanzania says this will be possible in two years time when the common market has been implemented
She insists that East Africa students should not be paying different fees.
