Kampala — Kampala city council has ordered all taxis operating outside the parks to vacate the places with immediate effect.
The order comes after a crisis meeting held between the parties. Traders have been at odds with the taxi operators whom they accuse of blocking entrance to their business premises.
Kampala Town clerk Ruth Kijambu said the meeting was in response to Monday's protest by vendors against UTODA for allowing Taxis to Park in front of their shops.
