Luanda — Angolan musician Zé Max, settled in Portugal, is in discussion with the production firm LS, with which he intends to work for the production of his new album, still without a release date, announced the artist to Angop, from that European country.
"I have sent three songs for Milay Xavier to analyse and he liked them. The album production was all financed with my money. I'm talking with them about the editing, promotion and distribution of the album in Angola", confirmed the "Quimbombo da Chica" composer.
Yet, Ze Max affirmed that he is making contacts with other companies associated to musical production, in order to guarantee the release of his new album, in case that he does not reach an agreement with the national musical producer, which plans to publish 30 albums (with diverse sorts of music), until end of the current year.
Concerning the album title, Ze Max revealed that it was not decided yet, as he first intends to reach an agreement with the producer.
The album is backed-up by Sao Tome and Principe's "Dua", guitar players Manecas Costa, from Guinea Bissau and Ismael, from Angola, as well as the Guinean percussionist Cadu. The author intends also to include the Angolan saxophone player Nanuto.
