Luanda — A set of printing publications among them daily news-papers of the Portuguese Government from 1778 to 1986 and books will be offered on Thursday, in Luanda, to the National Library of Angola, by the National Library of Portugal, part of a collaboration between the two institutions signed in 2006.
According to a communiqué issued by the National Library of Angola, made available to Angop on Thursday, during the ceremony the firm ESCOM will hand over to the institution a microfilms reader estimated at USD 50,000.
According to the source, the equipment will enable the research of a set of printing publications and microfilms in the ambit of the project called "Memories of Angola" that aims at the recovery, by the National Library of Angola through digital copies and microfilms, documents related to Angola.
