Luanda — The new coach of 1º de Agosto, Victor Bandarenko, is due to arrive next Tuesday in the country for one-season contract with the military soccer team, Angop learnt on Wednesday from the Director-general of the club, Fernando Barbosa.
The Russian coach will replace the Portuguese Victor Manuel, who was released by the club for not having attained the objective which was the winning of national championship "Girabola2008".
The new coach of "red-black" team will keep as his assistant the Angolan Jorge Humberto Chaves, who worked with Victor Manuel.
Victor Bandarenko has already coached the national team of Mozambique between 1993 and 1996, that qualified for CAN-1996 in South Africa. He also led the South African Premier League side Mamelodi Sundowns, among other clubs.
