Accra Hearts of Oak have made the perfect start to the season after two wins out of two but coach Kosta Papic insist there is still a great deal of work to be done on the side.
The Phobians recovered from a goal down to beat Berekum Arsenals 2-1 for their second win of the season. And while Papic was delighted with that he insists there is still some way to go before his side begins to put fear into their opponents.
"The way we played was a massive improvement on our performance in the first game so that is a plus but there are still areas that we need to improve on," he said.
Papic was particularly thrilled with the way his side over came back from a goal down but refuted claims that part of the Phobians struggles in the game was down to the fact that key men Charles Taylor and Kofi Abanga were absent through injury.
Papic has been keen not to talk up individuals in his team and maintained that mood on Wednesday.
"Those players are injured that is why they did not play so i would rather talk about the ones who are fit and played. I have told you I don't deal in names so when they are well and fit they will play."
Papic also defended new signing David Anas who has yet to score in the first two games of the season after declaring he will be challenging for the top goal scorers honour.
"Anas is new but he scored a lot in pre-season friendly games and getting better after every game."
