Kickoff (Cape Town)

The Santos-Amakhosi clash at Athlone Stadium on Saturday is likely to attract a huge crowd and the organisers have already taken precautions with no ticket sales on match day.
The People's Team, have struggled to find their rhythm this season, but the team has been building momentum in recent weeks, which has seen them record back-to-back wins over Thanda and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Players from the host side feel that with their renewed confidence, and the return of technical director Boebie Solomons, there is no reason why another maximum points haul cannot be obtained against Amakhosi.
"The past two victories have made a big difference to the players' confidence, as well as the log standings," says head coach David Bright. "We are currently five points off the top of the league table and with the buoyancy in the team at the moment we are confident of a positive result."
Chiefs however, have also bounced back from their Soweto derby defeat to Orlando Pirates with two straight wins - a 4-1 thumping of Bidvest Wits and a 1-0 victory over log-leaders Golden Arrows.
Prior to the 2-0 loss against Pirates, Amakhosi also accounted for Celtic, SuperSport United and AmaZulu, and under former Santos coach Muhsin Ertugral, are clearly a team in form.
Team manager Yusuf Gester confirms spirits are high at Santos ahead of this important clash.
"The mood in the camp is very high after beating Thanda Royal Zulu at Hammersdale. The big plus was the fact that Musa Otieno pulled through that game, with an outstanding performance, recovering from his back injury."
