Luanda — Angolan choreographer Ana Clara Guerra Marques on Thursday evening released in Luanda a theatre dance work entitled "For a history of Angolan Dance, between the school and the company - A Pedagogic Route", ANGOP has learnt.
In presenting the work, the university lecturer Justino Pinto de Andrade said that the book comes to fill a gap that exists in matters of information relating to the history of dance in Angola.
The 160-page book speaks about the trajectory Angolan theatre dance, with highlight to professional and academic dance. The preface was written by the writer Ana Paula Tavares.
Dancer, choreographer Ana Clara Guerra Marques was born on November 02, 1962, in Angola.
In 1991, she created the first professional dance company in Angola.
