Angola: Parliament Speaker Announces Creation of Constitutional Commission

Luanda — Angola's National Assembly speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, this Friday here announced the creation of a constitutional commission comprising MPs of political parties with seat in the parliament.

The Angolan Parliament speaker announced this at the solemn session of the National Assembly held in honour of Cape Verde's President, Pedro Verona Rodrigues Pires, who on Thursday started a two-day official visit to Angola, at the invitation of his Angolan counterpart, José Eduardo dos Santos.
