Somalia — Ethiopian troops captured the border town of Balanbal in Galgadud region, residents said on Monday.
The Ethiopian troops cut the communication of the town when they entered it.
A resident who took refuge from the Ethiopian soldiers in the bush says the Ethiopian troops cornered the town and made a base outside the town.
The aim of the Ethiopian troops is not known. But this comes as Al-shebab insurgent group captured three towns in central Somalia yesterday.
