Angola: Dance Competition Qualifies 12 Young People

Luanda — The first dance competition dubbed "Bounce", being promoted by Semba Communication organisation, held last Saturday in Luanda, qualified at the first Eliminatory round 12 out of the 16 dancers, ANGOP has learnt.

The qualified dancers are Bibiana Domingos, Félix Alvarez, Arling Inglês, Armando Chissingui, Bento António, Cláudio da Costa, Adilson Velhinho, Manuel Canga, Serafina Sanches, Cilana Manjenje, Neide Sofia and Jandira Padre.

The jury was made up by the singers Tony Amado, Jandira Margarida (Pérola), Zedú dos Santos, Miguel Nunesarida and Sacaneno João de Deus.

According to Zedú dos Santos, from Semba Communicações, the qualified dancers will participate in the second eliminatory round, set for December 12, at the production centre of the state-run Angola Public Television (TPA), in Camama Commune.

Speaking to the press, at the end of the competition, Zedú dos Santos said it was very difficult to choose the dancers, as all of them showed talent, despite the lack of professionalism.
