Nigeria: Delta AC Crisis - Suspended Chairman Accuses Guber Candidate

The state working committee of the Action Congress (AC) in Delta State has claimed to have ratified the suspension of the state chairman, Chief Sam Egwerome and set up a disciplinary committee to try him, while embattled Egwerome has cried out accusing the 2007 gubernatorial candidate of the party, Mr. Peter Okocha of allegedly having a hand in his removal.

At a state working committee in Asaba, presided over by the acting State Chairman Mr. Yemi Omaghomi, which was attended by elders leaders and local government executives of the party from the 25 local governments of the state, the former chairman was ordered to hand over all party property in his possession immediately.
