Oghara — Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Bosso, is still very optimistic about the team's chances at the upcoming African Youth Championship in Rwanda despite the quarter-final loss to the Young Terenga Lions of Senegal in the ongoing WAFU U-20 championship holding in Delta state.
According to coach Bosso, "we may have lost to Senegal, but the most important thing is that we gained a lot of experience from participating in the WAFU championship and this will only help us to prepare well for Rwanda."
He revealed also that he will parade a much stronger team in Rwanda since he would be relying more on the foreign-based players, who would join the team sometime in early January.
Bosso also praised the home-based players for their performance in the WAFU championship, stating that they did well considering the short time he had to assemble them.
He, however, regretted that the players did not implement most of the things they were thought in training on the pitch of play, lamenting that they only gave 40 per cent of what they were asked to do.
