Asmara — President Isaias Afwerki today left for N'djamena on an official visit at the invitation of President Idris Debi of Chad.

During his stay, the President would hold talks with the Chadian leader on strengthening bilateral relations and regional issues, as well as topics of mutual concern to both countries.

On arrival at N'djamena International Airport, President Isaias was accorded warm welcomed by President Idris Debi, ministers and diplomats accredited to the country. The welcoming ceremony also featured the national anthems of the two countries.
