Nigeria: Govt Sanctions 296 Schools Principals Over Illegal Fees

Asaba. — No fewer than 296 principals of public secondary schools, out of the 771 across Delta State have been sanctioned by the government for illegal collection of fees.

Out of the number, 45 principals were demoted to classroom teachers, 37 have been placed under suspension from being principals for a period of six months, during which time they would serve as classroom teachers; while 214 are to be issued letters of warning.
