Angola/Algeria: Referee Attends Training in Algeria

Luanda — Angolan assistant referee Inácio Cândido is to travel on Friday to Algeria, where he will participate in an annual seminar of the African Football Confederation (CAF), aimed at preparing referees for four competition in 2009, ANGOP has learnt.

The competitions are the African football championship for home based-players, the African football confederation cup, world football championships in under-17 and under-20.

This is the second training the Angolan referee is participating in less than 15 days.

Aged 37, Inácio Cândido was between November 25 and December 02 in Singapore,

attending a seminar organised by Fifa for assistant referees, having in view the World football championship in South Africa, in 2010.
