Monrovia — A thorough examination conducted by the General Auditing Commission into the revenue of the Government of Liberia has uncovered more than US$400,000 and L$600,000 outstanding taxes in 2005.
Audit report released by the GAC revealed that an examination of additional assessments records for 2005, made available by the former Bureau of Revenue Audit, disclosed that 98 taxpayers were assessed for amounts totaling US$1,186,960.89 and L$5,578,724.33 respectively.
