Namibia: Bank Brings Art Bodies Together

12 December 2008

Windhoek — Bank Windhoek Arts Festival (BWAF) recently held its quarterly smart partner meeting and at the same event a new smart partner poster was launched, it was announced in a press statement.

The BWAF Smart Partner poster outlines the meaning of a smart partner; the vision and mission of the BWAF Smart Partner agreement; and what the agreement strives for. The smart partnership agreement acts as a catalyst to help the promotion of visual and performing arts in Namibia and to sustain and encourage the development and exposure of local artists.

"I am extremely proud of the work that has gone into making this venture the success that it is today.

Although Bank Windhoek supplied the platform the success would not have been possible without our smart partners. I want to thank all our smart partners for the joy they bring to the aesthetic side of our lives," said the bank's managing director, James Hill.

"Bank Windhoek Arts Festival's vision is to empower and support various arts experts in exploring structures for a sustainable arts industry within their specific genres proving that 'Together we do better'," he added.
