Johannesburg — South Africa has successfully held the Miss World Pageant in Johannesburg on Friday, the sixth time that the City of Gold hosted the prestigious event.
The pageant, according to the Johannesburg Tourism Company Chief Executive Officer, Lindiwe Mahlangu has enabled the city to display its capability to host mega-events ahead of the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the Confederations Cup next year.
