Luanda — Petro Atlético de Luanda, Angola's first division football champion, is to start in January its preparation in neighbouring Republic of Namibia, ahead of its participation in the 2009 edition of the national championship and Afro Cup, Angop learned.
Speaking to Angop, Petro's chairperson, Cardodo Pereira, said the training programme might take 30 days.
On the other hand, he said the team might participate in various tournaments in Luanda and other parts of the country.
