Luanda — At least eight referees of level one have successfully concluded in Luanda, the basic refereeing course, lectured by an instructor of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), the Canadian Delano Lai Fatt.
Held on December 09-13, at the High Performance Centre (CARA) of the Angolan Table Tennis Federation, at Cidadela Sport Complex, 20 candidates received updated knowledge, in the ambit of measures approved by the world sport governing body.
With the expansion of standardisation programme in refereeing system at all levels, implemented by ITTF, the Angolan referees benefited from a working tool that will positively intervene in the development of the modality in the country.
Among the referees that received the diplomas from ITTF were Tomás Silva, Miguel Gourgel, António Cabral, Manuel Morais, Francisco Candimba, Mauro Nassequela and Luís Sidney.
