Kigali — RWANDA's rugby federation (RRF) has been invited by their Burundi counterparts for a series of friendly games next month reports.

In an email addressed to the federation, the president of the Burundi Rugby Union Oscar Nduwimana indicated that the tournament dubbed 'Tournoi de l'Amitié' will be held on the last weekend of January in Kirundo Province.

Games scheduled for the two-day event include; a 15-aside game for the U-18s, a women 7-aside game and a 15-aside game between Rwanda's Silverbacks and the Burundi national team.

This year, Remera Buffaloes emerged as the most outstanding club in the country. On top of winning the national league, Buffaloes also had a string of top class performances in Kenya's Priscloo Nakuru 7s as well as last month's Hima-Mak 10s in Uganda.
