The Gambia National team has arrived in Algeria yesterday morning ahead of their Friday return leg tie with the Fennecs of Algeria.
A twenty man strong team led by Coach Paul Put landed in Algiers in the early hours of Tuesday morning with a flight from Dakar.
They will locate to a hotel in the outskirts of Blida several kilometers south of the capital Algiers. An advance team of two led by Mbye Gaye head of the GFA protocol division and Ablie Kah deputy Permanent Secretary at the Department of State for Youth and Sports.The match will be played at 6:30 Gambian time at the Mustapha Tchaker stadium in Blida.
Below is the list of the twenty man team that traveled to Algeria.
Goalkeepers: Musa Bajaha, Robert Badjie, Defenders Lamin Conateh, Abdou Jammeh, Mathew Mendy, Pa Saikou Kujabi, Pa Modou Jagne and Abdoulie Corr. Midfielders: Yankuba Ceesay, Ebrima Sohna, Mustapha Jarju, Ebrima Sillah, Edrissa Sonko, Aziz Corr-Nyang, Abdoulie Mansally and Tijan Jaiteh. Attackers: Ousman Jallow, Ebrima Sawaneh, Assan Jatta and Njogu Demba.
