Uganda: Public Hearings On Police Brutality to Start

Kampala — The Parliamentary select committee probing the Alleged police brutality is set to start a national wide public hearing with people assaulted by the police.

One of the members Erute County Mp Charles Gutumoi says there are many people who would like to give accounts of how the police mistreated them while on duty.

He says the exercise will begin this Thursday at the conference hall of parliament and calls upon the general public to come and attend the sessions.
