Angola: Israeli Businessmen to Invest in Agriculture in Lobito City

Benguela — Israel ambassador to Angola, Sagui Kanrni, announced the intention of his country to attract businessmen to invest in Lobito district, central Benguela province, ANGOP learnt.

He expressed this intention on Monday at the end of an official visit to that locality, after noticing the existence of arable soils for agriculture.

"Angola is potentially reach in soils for the practicing of agriculture, an area that Israel has a huge working experience", he expressed.

In the light of the good relations existing between Angola and Israel, in various domains, it is possible to create legal tools that provide investments in the sectors of agriculture in Benguela, mainly in Lobito city, he explained.

Meanwhile, the administrator of Lobito, Amaro Segunda Ricardo, said that there are more than 30,000 hectares of arable lands for agriculture that are only waiting for investors.
