Luanda — The Angolan Prime Minister, António Paulo Kassoma, Wednesday here analysed with India's ambassador, Ajjampur Rangaiah Ghanashyam, the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the agriculture, education and health fields.
Speaking to press at the end of an audience, the head of Indian diplomatic mission in Angola said that they had discussed the supply of technology to the Southern African country, thus avoiding its acquisition through intermediaries.
Ajjampur Rangaiah Ghanashyam revealed the possibility of creation in 2009 of a mixed commission of cooperation between the two countries, adding that the political relations between both States are positive.
The Indian diplomat recalled that the commercial exchange between the two nations is estimated at USD 1.3 billion and stressed that his country has investments in Angola in the sectors of exploration of old iron and building materials.
The Indian community living in Angola is estimated at 500 people.
