22 December 2008

The Synagogue Church of All Nations, led by Prophet TB Joshua, has donated three TV sets and three satellite dishes to inmates of the Bamenda Central Prison. The equipment was given to Francis Musi MacTata, the Northwest Regional Delegate of Penitentiary Services.

Speaking on behalf of Prophet Joshua, Moses Elroy Kan, Northwest Paymaster, said the equipment was for the entertainment of the inmates and not for prison staff. He promised that with time other gifts, among them bibles would be given to the inmates.

The inmates, some of whom were present, were made to understand that they were part of society despite the crimes they might have committed. To Kan representative, imprisonment was not intended to punish, but to reform.

Responding, Musi MacTata said he could not count his blessings as they were numerous.

He thanked the Synagogue of All Nations for the wonderful gesture made to the inmates and promised that they would serve the beneficiaries.
