Angola: Premier Defends Greater Organisation to Fulfil Programme

Luanda — Angolan prime minister, António Paulo Kassoma, on Monday here defended a greater organisation and discipline in his office in order to meet the challenges of the successful implementation of the government's national plan and state budget for the year 2009, ANGOP learnt.

Paulo Kassoma was speaking at the year's end greeting ceremony with the personnel of his office, whom he wished a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

He said that employees of his office should increase their political understanding of the problems faced by the population and of the technical solutions to grant the government with an efficient advisory in making decisions relating to the implementation of the programme for the coming four years.

António Paulo Kassoma said that his staff in their capacity as the assistant of the head of government expect for great tasks that may be fulfilled in the ambit of the materialisation of the national plan and the state budget with discipline and professional rigour.

In his opinion, the tasks should be carried out with efficiency and spirit of hard work, and promised the implementation of upgrading courses for staff, as well as the promotion of a spirit of teamwork and dealing with the social needs of the employees.

He stressed that this year various activities marked the lives of Angolans, based on the implementation of a broad programme of reconstruction and national reconciliation and the holding of the September 05 legislative elections, made possible by the peace achieved about six years ago.

On the other hand, employees of premier's office reaffirmed their availability to contribute tp the implementation of tasks entrusted to them.
