Asmara — The Eritrean Embassy in the UK disclosed that serious efforts are being made on the part of parents and concerned bodies to familiarize Eritrean children in the Diaspora with their culture and identity without being influenced by western culture.

As part of the endeavors, a gathering was organized in London in connection with the New Year celebrations in a bid to create ground for Eritrean children to get acquainted with their culture and one another.

The Eritrean Ambassador to the UK, Mr. Tesfamichael Gerahtu, expressed appreciation to those who organized the event and presented gifts to all children who participated in the celebrations.
