South Africa: Dlamini Enters Into New Contract

28 December 2008

Those girls who had an eye for former Kaizer Chiefs and Black Leopards striker Sibusiso Dlamini can eat their hearts out.

The striker is now hitched, having paid lobola for his long time fiancée Angela Shabangu at a ceremony at the girl's home Nkwene in Swaziland.

Speaking to KickOff.com Dlamini confirms that he is now committed the woman he loves.

"It is true that I am paying lobola but I am surprised that someone told you because I was keeping it quiet," he says.

The Mpumalanga Black Aces striker says that he is happy to finally be paying the lobola for someone he loves and advised other soccer players to be as responsible as they can in these trying times.

"As footballers, we are role models and we have to act like one if people are to take us seriously off the field. That is why I decided to pay lobola for my fiancée and then life will continue," he says.

Dlamini follows in the footsteps of another Swazi international player, Dennis Masina, who got married last year in Pretoria.
