Umuahia — GOVERNOR Theodore Orji of Abia State has accused the opposition in the state of being behind the spate of kidnapping in the state.
Governor Orji who spoke while addressing members of the ruling Progressive Peoples Alliance (PPA), alleged that the opposition sponsor the kidnapping just to distract his government but explained that they would not succeed.

He also called on every person who benefited to contribute to the growth of the party. According to him, the party is doing well and all of them, he said are stakeholders.
The Governor also urged them not to fight against the party, saying that aggrieved members would be made to feel happy. He also warned the members not to engage in blackmail. He said though the party members had not engaged in blackmail, he prayed them not to indulge in it.
