Abakaliki — EBONYI State, Governor Martin Elechi has asked Christians world over to use this year's Christmas as a point of reflection in rededicating themselves to greater work by building a better society.
Governor Elechi gave the charge in his Christmas message, while reminding Christians to buckle up for greater contribution to nation building.
The Ebonyi Governor said: "As we celebrate Christmas in joyful expectation for the New Year, I invite all Ebonyians to rededicate themselves to the ideals of community development and nation building through hard work, discipline, integrity and social justice".
He tasked Christians in Nigeria to reflect on the deeper essence of Christ's birth so as to do homage to the prince of peace through acts of charity and fraternal love especially to the less privileged members of the society.
