Abuja — Vice President Goodluck Jonathan will today flag off the inaugural flight for the 2008 Christian Pilgrimage to Israel.
Jonathan, who will be accompanied by top officials of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NPC), will also address the intending pilgrims from Nasarawa and the FCT.
The event will take place at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja by 4pm.
The Israeli Transport Aviation Tourism (TAT), 286 Seater aircraft is expected to land this morning from Tel Aviv.
That will be the beginning of airlift of pilgrims to the Holy Land for the 2008 exercise which is expected to end early February.
Pilgrims from Kogi and the FCT will be airlifted tomorrow to Israel.
