Kickoff (Cape Town)

Orlando Pirates midfielder Teko Modise is set to return to action in the new year after recovering from his injury.
Modise has been sidelined since before the festive break after picking up an ankle injury during the Telkom Knockout Cup Final against Ajax Cape Town at Chatsworth Stadium on December 13.
The Bafana Bafana star tells KickOff.com he will join his Bucs teammates when they return for training on Wednesday.
"I am fully recovered and ready to go back to training," he says. "I was disappointed to miss our last two games, but I was glad we managed to pick up four points against Celtic and AmaZulu."
Modise says he has many wishes for the new year, "but my two main ambitions are to do well during the Fifa Confederations Cup and to get a break to play overseas in 2009."
Meanwhile, reports indicate that SuperSport United will meet in a fortnight's time to discuss Pirates' enquiries regarding the services of their striker Katlego Mashego.
