Liberia: Nasser Wins Libercell U.S.$5,000 Draw

Mohammed Nasser, a sales man at the AA Enterprise on Randal Street was the proud winner of the LiberCell US$5,000, Christmas raffle draw.

The computerized draw was held at LiberCell's newly inaugurated Customers Service Shop at the Caldwell Junction before a record crowd, live on a local radio.

The check of US$5,000.00 drawn on EcoBank was presented to him immediately following the draw at LiberCell's head office on Randal Street.

O4-947777 is Mohammed's number selected by chance among 27,500 eligible subscribers by the computer. "It was a big surprise sitting in my store, when I received the call from LiberCell that I've won US$5,000.00," Mohammed said.

"The call was followed by several other calls also from other networks, more than six calls, I was over excited, I got confused, I was alone in the store and could not leave" he said.

Mohammed said he will use the LiberCell US$5,000.00 award to settle some pressing debts and was so grateful for the Money.

He got connected to the LiberCell service six months ago, attracted by its efficiency, stronger signal, and low cost rate especially, international calls to the United States and Canada, Mohammed said.

LiberCell is one of four GSM mobile services, leading with some of the most advance state-of -the-art technology in Liberia.

It recently launched an aggressive marketing and sales program with the establishment of three additional customer care shops in the Monrovia area and an estimated US$60,000.00 in cash prizes for its subscribers in the festive seasons.

More than 700 subscribers have so far won prizes ranging from scratch cards, t-shirts, and cash including US$100 and US$500.00.

LiberCell's grand prize of US$10,000.00 will be drawn on 2nd Jan, 2009, and you could be the lucky winner like Mohammed.

LiberCell three additional Customer's care shops, equipped with internet service free for its subscribers are located in Red-light, Paynesville, Clara Town, Bushrod Island and at Caldwell Junction.
