Former Jomo Cosmos striker and PSL top scorer Chris Katongo finally married his long-time partner Yvonne Lumbwe on Saturday at a colourful reception attended by a horde of Zambian sports administrators and players.

The wedding reception at Ndola's Savoy Hotel on the Copperbelt Province was preceded by a church service in Kalulushi town, also on the Copperbelt Province.

Among the players who attended the function were former Kaizer Chiefs striker Rotson Kilambe, Carara Kicks defender Clive Hachilensa, attacking midfielder Noel Mwandila of Winners Park and Swedish-based midfielder Isaac Chansa, formerly of Orlando Pirates.

Katongo is currently on the books of German Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld, having joined them from Danish Super League side Brondby IF earlier this year.

He and Lumbwe already have two children, Cassius (6) and Christopher Katongo Junior (2).
