Kampala — Police have detained Gerald Ogoola, a lift operator at Hilton hotel construction site over the collapse that killed 5 people on Sunday.
Police spokesman for the Kampala extra region Simeo Nsubuga said Ogoola is detained at the Central Police Station in Kampala.
He confirmed he will be charged with negligence of duty.
According to Nsubuga, Ogoola was supposed to be at the site but he was missing at the time the accident happened.
