Tunis — Tunisia is confirming its reputation as one of the best spots for investing in property. In an online article released on Tuesday, the international property portal Homesgofast.com has predicted that Tunisia is part of the three top places to invest within Africa and the Middle East for 2009.
The news comes as a result of a research analyzing internet traffic and enquiry trends from the portal's network of property websites.
The portal writes that "Tunisia is an emerging property market with a difference unlike traditional emerging markets, the infrastructure is in place and so are the flights you will need to get to the region. It also has all the holiday visitors you need as an established holiday hot spot favored by the Germans and the British."
The portal also refers to the recent change in the legislation which allows foreigners to buy property in Tunisia.
The other two places mentioned in the report are Dubai and Egypt.
