Eritrea: Potable Water Supply Project in Deki-Gebru Finalized

Asmara — A potable water supply project in Deki-Gebru, Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone, has been finalized.

Mr. Kafla Mussa, Administrator of the sub-zone, disclosed that the project implemented at a cost of about 1 million is part of the endeavors being made by the Anseba regional administration and partners to ease potable water supply problem in the region.

The local inhabitants used to travel long distance to fetch water that was not up to standard, he explained.

Deki-Zeru, inhabited by more than 1,300 people, is one of the 11 administrative areas in Adi-Tekelezan sub-zone.
