Kampala — KENYA'S national team players were forced to sleep on empty stomachs after failing to secure supper at their team hotel in Jinja town.

The Harambe Stars arrived at midnight on Monday and were left speechless after staff at Hotel Triangle Annex notified them that the hotel management had not reserved any meals for them.

A majority of the team's players were later seen negotiating for chapattis and egg-rolled chapattis 'rolex' in the town's busy outskirts.

Meanwhile, guests Zambia have vowed to claim the regional title. The Chipolopolo clash with Djibouti at Bugembe Stadium today. "I have the most technically gifted team in the tournament," Zambian coach Renard Herve stated yesterday.
